Fuzz

Fuzz effects pedals were the first attempts on simulating the sound of an overdriven tube amp with a stomp box.

Fuzz pedals work by using a combination of electronic circuits and transistors to distort and clip the input signal. They typically feature a range of controls, such as gain, tone, and volume, that allow the user to shape the sound of the pedal to achieve the desired effect.

There are many different types of fuzz pedals available, each with its own unique character and tonal characteristics. Some popular examples of fuzz pedals include the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff, the Fuzz Face, and the Zvex Fuzz Factory.
