Contained version:

1. The Civil War: Based on the Civil War Muff it offers a warm, rounded overdrive and sustain. This version was produced in the early 1990s.
2. The Russian: The Russian Big Muff was produced in the mid-1990s in Russia and is known for its smooth, compressed overdrive and sustain.
3. The Pi: The well known version produced from the late 90s is known more for its aggressive, high-gain distortion.
4. The Triangle: More of a smooth, creamy overdrive from the original from the 70s.
5. ’73 Rams Head: A less gain, more dark version from this 1973 version.
6. JHS 2015: Amore powerful and less compressed take on the Big Muff by JHS. With a more haunting midrange. It is also the best for bass guitar.
