Jonny Buckland

Jonathan Mark “Jonny” Buckland is an English musician, best known as the lead guitarist of the British band Coldplay. He is known for his melodic and harmonic guitar work, which is often compared to that of U2’s The Edge. Buckland and Coldplay’s lead vocalist, Chris Martin, met while they were both students at University College London in 1996. They formed Coldplay in 1998 and have released several albums together.
