It does the 2 Chorus sound you can get with it very well and, yes, you can get the typical Nirvana sound with it. But I dislike the housing so much, that I would never recommend it. Get some standard housed pedal for less – with even more options.
But if you like the retro style and just want simple, solid Chorus-sounds, then go for it and test it out. When buying used be sure to check if the pedal has the new (BOSS-stanard) power-connector or the old center positive barrel type, to not fry it on the first test!
