4xAA Batteries

Though not very common for effects pedals AA-batteries (LR6) are in general the most widely and easily available battery type. So no wonder some pedal builders tried to establish them as a new standard. But 9V batteries still dominate – and you most likely use a multi-powersupply anyway.
