Yngwie Malmsteen

Yngwie J. Malmsteen is a Swedish guitarist, songwriter and bandleader who was born on June 30, 1963. He is known for his neo-classical metal playing style and his use of the technique of sweep picking. Malmsteen first became famous in the 1980s for his work with the band Alcatrazz and later as a solo artist.
