Matthew Bellamy
Matthew Bellamy is an English musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the rock band Muse.
One of Bellamy’s most iconic effects pedals is the Z.Vex Fuzz Factory, which he uses to create a wide range of distorted and overdriven tones. The Fuzz Factory allows him to achieve a distinctive, aggressive sound that adds intensity and grit to his guitar playing.
Another prominent pedal in Bellamy’s setup is the Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler. This versatile delay pedal provides Bellamy with a wide variety of delay effects, including rhythmic patterns, tape echoes, and atmospheric washes. He often employs these delay effects to create layers of sound and to build dynamic and textured guitar parts.
Additionally, Bellamy is known to use the Digitech Whammy pedal, which he utilizes to create pitch-shifting effects and dramatic dive bombs. This pedal adds a unique and expressive element to his playing, allowing him to create soaring solos and innovative guitar lines.
