Octave
Octave pedals are effects pedals that are used to produce a pitch-shifted version of the input signal, typically one or two octaves above or below the original pitch. They are often used to create a thick, harmonized sound and are commonly associated with bass guitar and keyboard music.
Octave pedals work by using a digital processor or analog circuitry to divide the input signal into different frequency bands and shift the pitch of each band by a specific interval. They typically feature controls for adjusting the level and pitch of the octave effect, as well as a blend control that allows the user to mix the dry and wet signals.
