Tremolo
Tremolo pedals are effects pedals that are used to produce a fluctuating or pulsating sound by rapidly and repeatedly turning the volume of the input signal up and down. They are often used to create a sense of movement or depth in the music, and are commonly associated with surf rock and blues music.
Tremolo pedals work by using a low-frequency oscillator (LFO) to modulate the volume of the input signal. They typically feature a range of controls, such as depth, rate, and waveform, that allow the user to shape the sound of the pedal to achieve the desired effect.
