Envelope Filter
An envelope filter is a type of effects pedal that modifies the sound of an electric guitar or other instrument by filtering the sound based on the envelope of the input signal. The envelope of a signal refers to how the volume or amplitude of the signal changes over time.
Envelope filters work by using a sensor to detect the envelope of the input signal, and then applying a filter to the signal based on the envelope. They can create a wide range of sounds, from funky, wah-like effects to more subtle, subtle changes in the tone of the instrument. Some envelope filters allow you to control the sensitivity of the sensor, the type of filter applied, and other parameters to shape the sound of the effect.
