Really loving my tc Spark mini I wanted to also get my hands on the “bigger version” of it. And what can I say? It is … fine.
In fact, you can’t even compare the two Spark versions, as they are 2 completely different things:
The mini is just a simple clean boost – not more, but it does it’s job without compromise.
The “big” Spark Booster has so many options and controls. It is overwhelming! – And while you can get so many good sound out of it, for every setting I can achieve that with a more “specialized” of my pedals for which I prefer the simplicity or character.
So: A really extremely versatile and good sounding pedal and I will for sure keep it. But mostly it just sits in the drawer unfortunately.
